A Republican friend of mine put a McCain sign in my yard as a joke. Yep, it was funny! But not as funny as when I contributed to the Obama campaign in her name!

I've been watching this myself — and was thinking I should take my camera down to capture this – so glad you did!

Knowing the background now I wonder, if the McCain house owners are connected to the republican committee, why did they put up a "Another Democrat For McCain" sign at the very beginning of this activity? Perhaps they couldn't find a democrat who would post such a thing?

Too funny. I live in Bergen County near NYC and my entire neighborhood is pro-Obama – signs in full force on the main drag, no signs and quiet, understated nods, smiles and peace finger signs here on the cul de sac – with the exception of the old man across the street from my house. McCain/Palin signs appeared about a week ago. He's the grumpiest, nastiest, loneliest man on the block. You say hi to him and he glares then turns his head and walks away. Oh, did I mention I'm a mixed black person who is also Jewish and has worn a kippah walking past him? I must say when the M/P signs appeared in HIS yard, no one in the neighborhood was surprised…

Viva Bergen County! One of the 5 highest per capita incomes in the nation for counties, and Obama supporting all the way… except one [snicker].

Alas, there is always Texas. He can move there.
